Food Share

FoodShare Columbia is a non-profit organization that aims to empower low income individuals to adopt a more nutritious diet as part of a healthy lifestyle through food box participation and culinary medicine cooking classes. We seek to improve the quality of life and reduce food insecurity amongst South Carolinians by increasing access to fresh produce and nutrition education.

How Does It Work?
Each Fresh Food Box is filled with 12 to 15 varieties of fresh fruits and vegetables and is available in two sizes. Large boxes costs $20 and small boxes costs $15, but for SNAP recipients using their EBT card to purchase, a $10 Healthy Bucks match is instantly added making the large box $10 and the small box only $5!

Each Fresh Food Box comes with a recipe insert chock full of ideas on how to use the produce contents that week.

Simply place your order in person at the Columbia FoodShare Hub, one of our Pick-Up Sites in Columbia or with one of our locations in other cities!
